Blatchford announces sale of Norwegian patient care business to Ottobock

We are pleased to announce the sale of Blatchford's Norwegian patient care business (Blatchford Ortopedi and Ortopro) to Ottobock.

Norway has been a core part of Blatchford’s patient care business since 2015, during which time it has gone from strength to strength while building a strong reputation for outstanding care.

Ottobock will provide Blatchford's Norwegian patients and colleagues with a strong platform for the future, combining world-class local clinical expertise with the scale and resources of a multinational leader in patient care.

We would like to thank Lars Henrik Østevold (CEO), the leadership team, and all colleagues at Blatchford Norway for their achievements, and we wish them and Ottobock every success in the future.

Following completion of the transaction, Blatchford will continue to supply products and support their customers in Norway.

Blatchford will remain focused on innovation in prosthetics and orthotics technology, while continuing to grow its UK patient care business.
